For sale: Mint Kawai ES8
The ES8 has, arguably, the best plastic action on a slab piano. Itks the same RaH3 action used on the Kawai MP7 se and used, I believe in the NORD piano. I used it for three years and was delighted with it, but, since purchasing a Kawai Novus10 with a real acoustic action I no longer will use it.
The ES8 is a DP, so no pitch or mod wheels. It has the top of the line Kawai Shigeru sampled piano software (identical to what's on my Novus. Full midi compatibility.
As an improvisor I only played it over a period of 3 yrs for about an hour a week (that provided all the material I needed for a track or two). So, it is in absolute pristine condition and comes with music stand and sustain pedal.
The replacement model, Kawai ES920 goes for $1899 plus tax on SweetWater is not much improved from the ES8 (spkrs a bit better but not much else) importantly, they dropped the all metal case which the ES8 has. The 8 is solid as a rock.
I would like to sell it for $1050 plus shipping, but I am negotiable, especially for a forum member.
