Wish I’d had these kind of music lessons when I was a kid

They have a bandcamp:

This is the track referred to in the Guardian piece. Einsturzende Neubaten eat your heart out:

Bought, obviously. And I think I’ve found who I want to leave my stuff to, if they’re still going when I do…

Art!

  • Amazing.

  • What a wonderful project! “Doodle” just brought a huge smile to my face.

  • What a great project, at the very least they’ve given those kids the kind of confidence and attitude to explore the world in ways they might never have, but they might well have kicked off a whole new scene in their corner of the country! Inspirational.

Depends on the kind of music you listen to. My first love was messing with an old tape recorder and discovering Musique Concrete:

And this was the album I borrowed from my local library when I was about 12. Opened me to whole new world of electronic sound

After that, it was short steps to Eno, Jarre, Can, Tomita, Carlos, Kraftwerk, Cabaret Voltaire…

Those kids are getting a head start on mind expansion.
