    Thank you!
restraint is something that is difficult to maintain, I am glad I managed to hold back here…
Minimal is often my aim, seldom my goal, lol

To me, it’s a matter of thinking about what a track doesn’t need rather than what I can add.(Paraphrasing Eno.)

Oh, and, Velvet Machine is da bomb, correct?

    @rottencat
    Eno is succint… as always!
Velvet Machine is the mutts nuts!
I have a few more things to share soon…
    TY
    :)

  • @id_23 @rottencat When would you use Velvet instead of Cascade? I only have Cascade, but my impression is that it covers all what Velvet can do. No?

Cascade more for creating spaces maybe… Both good at stretching and smearing sounds…
    For me,
I don’t have a specific use in mind, often need a different flavour of sound, if that makes sense?
    :)

    I don’t have Cascade so I can’t compare them.

Velvet is great for creating deep soft beds of sound. Like the above.⬆️

  • Thanks. @rottencat Cascade is also great for doing that. You should consider picking it up in the next sale, it is very versatile for sound design.

  • This is great, thanks for sharing. Very minimalist in the best kinda way. Mitosynth is one I never got but I always liked its sound.

  • I enjoyed this. Good vibes.

  • You might enjoy Drone Lab. Very simple but beautiful app.
