    Cascade more for creating spaces maybe… Both good at stretching and smearing sounds…
    For me,
    I don’t have a specific use in mind, often need a different flavour of sound, if that makes sense?

    Velvet is great for creating deep soft beds of sound. Like the above.⬆️

    Thanks. @rottencat Cascade is also great for doing that. You should consider picking it up in the next sale, it is very versatile for sound design.
