Midi control app with tap sliders?
Like the ones in Patterning 2 mixer.

loopy pro works awesome as a midi controller. You can also use it as a slide over or auv3 plugin so its very convenient.
4pockets surface builder
I think what you mean by this is: "The fader jumps to the position that you tap rather than having to be touched and dragged to position." If so:
Jump to tap position:
Require touch + slide:
Thanks for the accurate list. I forgot there was a Mixer in my LK toolbox. This “snap to” is a great improvement considering you can still slide right after the touch gesture. I could get used to that. I wonder if @4pockets_paul might add this to the Surface Builder and gain another dozen purchases.
That's something I generally never want. The last thing I want is a jump in volume or other parameter as soon as I touch a fader. But, as an additional option, it could be useful for something I guess.
I think my use case will be randomized CC value sends… I tend to use knobs in Mozaic and they spew stepwise number runs. But I’ve never noticed it as a problem in practice to be honest. I wonder what these jumps might do
For some pitch bends assuming Paul allows such a slider to use for pitch bends.
FWIW, Loopy Pro’s XY Pad can perform just like a touch fader. You can size it to be non-square and use only the x or y value and it will behave Just like a touch fader. The value will jump to wherever you put your finger.
Nice… what are the odds that @wim will provide a list apps with this capability. I’m going to check Surface Builder first because it’s top of mind.
Nice!!
Learned something today. 😎
