JWM - The Lofi Lounge (Bet you can't guess which genre this is, lol)
Yeah, it's Lofi created in Nanostudio 2. Wanted to play with Baby Audio's Super VHS (piano) and Kai Aras' Artifacts (overall master). Two brilliant apps really. I also wanted to use True Pan in a Lofi setting, lol.

Wow - 963 plays on SoundCloud already! I’d call that a lot of love.
Produced to your usual high standard, and I like the easy, loose feel of the piano and sax voices on this. Not especially my dose, but I can appreciate the vibe. Like the rumbles of thunder too, though to my mind, there is no track which doesn’t benefit from a rumble of distant thunder

The elements you choose to employ, and the melodies remind me a bit of Elaquent’s early stuff

Although I didn't add thunder, but there is something in the track creating that effect, and that's cool. 
But yeah, I gave the sax a swing but it's mostly on-the-grid. The piano is where I programmed the notes on the grid and then slid each one off grid. Programming notes on grid and then sliding them off grid is how we get that Dilla effect I love. 
That said, I'm not sure what my next project will be, but I think it'll be a Trance piece. I'm thinking of remaking "The Collector's Heart" from the "Within Gadget" EP.

Daaaaamn! I just checked SoundCloud, and yeah, "Lofi Lounge" blew up like an mfer! 😂 Out of the four tracks I recently produced, I felt "Lofi Lounge" was my weakest, but turns out it was not weak at all.

Yeah, see, I prefer "Childhood" too as well as "The Journey" and "The Trek", and I felt "The Lofi Lounge" was the weakest out of those four tracks I produced in mid-to-late July.
Yet the track I liked the least out of the four that felt like I was phoning it in got over a thousand listens on SoundCloud! 🤯 What the f*ck?

Good god, three or so months later and this track is still going strong on SoundCloud. 🤪 For context, I created this song as an uninspired throwaway track when I started entering that month-long creative block believe it or not. Somehow this is my highest performing piece on SoundCloud. Goes to show you never know what will resonate with people sometimes.

Thanks mate, LOL! But I'm not a celebrity by any means. Just sheer dumb luck that a piece that I felt was a an uninspired throwaway piece turned out to be my biggest hit on SoundCloud. 😂 I STILL have to upload that other Lofi piece I made, lol. Just been busy.
It always seems to work out that way (the least expected one being the hit). I feel like I’ve read interviews with so many artists saying the same thing. Their least favorite track it a throwaway track becomes their hit.
Either way, still super cool! And it’s a really good one too
