Soma Terra looks amazing

I don't often get hardware gas, but these Soma Labs instruments always strike me as something I'd love to have.

  • Soma is the best hardware dev in recent years hands down. I own two of their offerings, the pipe, which is absolutely insane, and the Lyra 8, which is equally impressive.

Ive been eyeing one of these, as well as the Pulsar 23. I would probably get the Pulsar first, next big job i get, im snagging one for sure.

they dont just sound incredible, the tactile-ness, and instrument designs are so unique. They are fun to play, you become one with the instrument.

That's what I feel from the YouTube vids I watch. If only ipads could have touch sensitivity added. Even then though, you couldn't generally play with your eyes closed, so that's where hardware like this has the edge. Really wish I had the money and the space to buy their stuff. The lyra and pulsar units also both seem gorgeous, haven't heard of the pipe!

  • I think in the future Ableton’s Push 3 SA with M4L devices would be a better investment, but the Terra does look cool.

  • I’ve been GASsing for one of these since the first video I saw about it. Beautiful instrument. The RoAT also looks fun, and more affordable. The Lyra and Pulsar are both amazing things, too.

  • My neighbor has the Soma Enner. I could play on that thing for days!!!!!

  • I have Lyra-8 and ROAT and for jamming, I take the ROAT with me. So portable and capable of interesting rhythmic textures.
