    Thanks.

  • Yes I wanted to do surface builder but looking at the process I wasn’t sure about all the info needed, and if it can be done without developer consent. Off to vote for 2 apps.

Thanks. I’m not sure if weighing into the PatchStorage Discord is helpful to speed the process up.
I proposed FAC Drumkit and I recall it took about a week.

  • FYI: Klevgrand Tomofon and Layr Synth have been approved. It’s not a competition… they were just submitted earlier in the queue.

Great news! I love both of these !

Unfortunately, neither platform has any uploads of Presets yet.

  • Just started to use Tomofon. I should RTFM but don't have much time lately. Tomofon shared preset include samples?

Does the app let you import samples? If yes, then I’ll bet you need to provide those samples along with the preset. This sounds like a job for “The Forum Test Lab” which exists in the mind of the curious anywhere. If you know or are willing to test and reply then do so. You continent will reward you with treats.

  • Good to see people recommending surface builder for patchstorage. But how do I disable the email notifications on Patchstorage ? I find it annoying to get an email for every +1.

I didn’t know you had to put in a voting request for an app to be added. This whole time I thought you could add any app that isn’t there. Do they have ButterSynth, I don’t remember seeing ButterSynth last time I checked.

Log in, tap envelope at the top, tap settings at the top of that pop up, then it’s there.

I had a look at that, but the wording of these settings is very confusing (at least for me). The first checkbox implies to me that I allow others to send me direct messages. The second looks like a toggle for email notifications of aforesaid messages, and the third looks like an option to get Patchstorage announcements mailed to me or not.
Nothing about generic email notifications from comments threads.

  • @catherder - try clicking on the icon to the left of the notification "letter" icon. You should then see your profile information at the top, with a settings button. From there you can find the platforms that you're subscribed to and try unsubscribing from them.

  • Both Surface Builder and Loopy pro have been approved and are awaiting the upload of content:

    https://patchstorage.com/requests/surface-builder/

    https://patchstorage.com/platform/loopy-pro/

  • Yes! Excited about this.

That didn’t do the trick so I filed an issue on the Patchstorage issue tracker. And I can hardly believe it, they fixed the problem within a few hours. Detailed settings for email notifications can now be found under the profile settings: https://github.com/patchstorage/patchstorage-issues/issues/8#event-9975954426
Great devs working on a great project!

They really are great devs (actually a single person I think) - and providing it all for free too.

  • So surface builder patches are in xml? From browser it keeps opening Fluss for some reason… I guess I have to go to the app and import it from files?

    That is really cool.

  • Just saw this in help page

Drag & Drop: Another way to backup your presets is to drag and drop directly to the iOS Files app. To do this, select Load Surface from the main menu. Once the window appears, simply TAP, HOLD, and DRAG a preset to the Files app. You can reverse the process to import those same files. This is a great way to share your surfaces with friends
