Reynisfjara
Reynisfjara Is the name of an amazing black sand beach in the south of Iceland.
In addition to the unusual sands it has these amazing basalt column formations caused by a combination of heating and cooling…
A combination of talents has resulted in this track…

Awesome
Nice! Love it @GeoTony
Really like that mix of percussive keyboard in the background with the ethereal lead instrument (guitar/violin?)… and whose vocals are those?
Cool track, great work. I spent a few days on Iceland in the late eighties, we were very lucky with the weather and had an awesome experience of the very weird landscape that's being offered.
Thanks @RanDoM_rRay , @Edward_Alexander , @NeuM and @Pxlhg 🙏
The track is actually a collaboration but my co-conspirator is a bit shy and retiring at the moment.
@NeuM , I’m told the vocals are from a Blocs Wave package. The ethereal lead is a slightly modified GeoShred Gong Lead preset passed through Attack Softener and a couple of TB Reverbs.
We went to Iceland in 2015 @Pxlhg and were equally lucky, glorious weather for 5 days. It snowed a bit on the 6th day on the way to the airport. Amazing scenery, lovely people.
Ooh, I do love a mystery! I came for the title, stayed for the interesting mix of masterfully played real instruments and textural effects. The vocals are a sound pack, huh? Oddly specific…
(my Blocs Wave vocals are all generic ‘oos’ and ‘ahs’)
