Midi map number of bars in Drambo

edited August 2023 in General App Discussion

Is it possible to use midi to change or set the number of bars on a pattern in Drambo?

    No

    Be cool if you could

  • I'm curious what are you thinking of. Increase a knob and it adds empty bars? Adds bars filled with the previous pattern bars? Or maybe be able to midi map the starting measure to one knob and the ending knob to the ending measure and adjust those separately within the number of bars of the pattern?

There are many ways something like that could work. If you've got a firm idea how you'd like to see it work, it might be worth opening up a discussion on the beepstreet forum where it'll get more direct involvement than here.

Well I’m trying to touch the screen as little as possible while jamming. Or just have everything streamlined so I don’t have to keep jumping around. Doing this on my phone, very tiny. If I could just have buttons that would increase or decrease the amount of bars that’d be nice. On loopy pro I can have buttons to set the specific amount of bars or increase decrease. I know I can just have it record whatever I play and loop that which is nice but something like this would leave no room for error (because I suck). I can think of a few different ways I could do this with loopy pro and Drambo. I have setups with Loopy Pro in Drambo and vice versa. Just wondering if there’s anyway to do it in Drambo natively.

  • Just wanted to map the x2 /2 buttons
