Anyone know what guitar synth Lionel Loueke (in Herbie Hancock band and on his own) uses?

I saw HH band last week, Lionel Loueke on guitar, and I'm just wondering if anyone knows what he uses to translate guitar to synth patches? At some points there were some great Moog like sounds a la the interlude that bookends Earth Wind and Fire All About Love on That's The Way of The World. And some other mad octave harmonizing things going on that sounded like when Tyondai Braxton era Battles were on Jools Holland..
