Is there something else like Voloco?
Hey peeps, I just became aware of voloco so I gave it a try. I really do like how it sounds and from the AudioTune apps I’ve tried its algorithm is smooth and I really do like the talk box effects and harmonies. The problem is that for starters it’s $100 au a year. That’s nearly twice what Logic Pro are charging and whilst I do like Logic Pro I’m not into subscriptions. That is a massive deterrent already. I would semi consider it if we could dive deep into all the effects and be able to midi control all of the parameters. It doesn’t even allow me to save presets in loopy as an auv3. (Loopy pro is the only app I subscribe too and use on my iPad, I purchased the iPad Pro for loopy pro alone)
The question is, is there anything else out there like this? I currently use audiotune by audio kit, Harmonizr and voice synth for these types of sounds
Comments
dervoco is a vocoder
bleas voices is an harmonizer
audiotune sucks, use vocal tune pro
Thanks man, I got vocal tune. Agreed it does sound a lot smoother than AudioTune. Il check bleas voices now
Voice Synth Modular maybe?
I’ve got voice synth, I didn’t know about the modular version. I’m not sure what difference there is?
If you pitch shift (newpitch is great) a cooy of your vocal before vocal tune ro you also have a nice harmony
I just live loop on the fly, for pitch stuff I use VoiceRack fx, it’s not great but the latency is acceptable, for guitar I use ToneStack with an octave pedal. Il have a look at new pitch
