Can I MIDI-learn Mackie control/HUI transport buttons in Drambo?
Thinking of getting an Arturia Keylab controller, and I will use it with Drambo. But the Keylab’s transport buttons only send MCU/HUI messages.
My question is, will this work with Drambo? Will it either just work as expected, or can I map MCU/HUI messages with Drambo’s MIDI-mapping feature, like I can with MIDI CCs?
Comments
No you cannot map MCU/HUI in dRambo.
Can confirm. I just remembered my Nanokontrol 2 does Mackie/HUI and teated it.
Can you take a look with a midi monitor and see what events are sent? If any midi is seen , you could use something like streambyter to translate the midi to something Drambo can learn.
