Enhancing the naturalness of MIDI with guitar control

I'm currently using a guitar connected to MIDI Guitar, then routing it into AUM for experimental music with MIDI. I've already managed to smoothen the transition between two notes for a seamless connection, but when I accidentally touch other strings, the sound of the unintended string is quite loud. How can I set up the sound of the unintended string when touched (I've tried using a gate, but the sound still seems noticeable)? Or are there other suitable AUv3 MIDI control tools available? Thank you.

  • You could edit the midi afterwards to eliminate those bum notes. But in reality you will have practice and develop a playing style that is cleaner then what you are used to when playing acousticaly.
