Seven Daggers (Dagger only project and 50 free presets)

A project using only one synth for all purpose i.e drums, bass and keys i.e Dagger. All scrambled together in NanoStudio2 on iPad. I tried to be sparse with other plugins but these are used: Timeless, Pro Q3 and Pro C2 by FabFilter. Dubstation by Audio Damage. Silo by Unfiltered Audio. Phonolyth's Cascade. Choric by Caelum Audio and AudioThing Bubbles.

Link to 50 presets by yours truly. Just import from within the app.

  • Thanks for sharing your Dagger presets.. quickly ran through them.. will dig deeper tonight.. fantastic sounds.. great addition to the Dagger library..
    Subbed..

  • That was a sharp and edgy song, a true representation of a great synth. 🤩 Thanks for the sound pack, I appreciate it. BTW, love your Procreate drawings in Pipe Dream, freaking fantastic. Musically and visually!

  • Great energy in this! I especially liked how all hell broke loose at 2:12, then dropped back down to a cool groove. I don’t have this synth but I will probably get it this weekend based on this track. I hope Doug from @thesoundtestroom has a video. Those are always my go to tutorials for something new.

I think Doug has several videos using Dagger so far.

I just watched one. Definitely getting this synth this weekend!

Thank you all for taking your time, listening and, for your kind words; it warms this mans heart. ❤️

  • It could be a theme to a very dark murder mystery film! Very atmospheric. Love the decomposing fx on the Dagger synth image in the video too!

Thank you! I've been taking up After Effects again after maybe 15 years absence, it's so hard to relearn shite for an (too?) old brain. Fantastic software it is anyway.

    Really good stuff!

What are you using for the visuals?

Edit: ah After effects I see

Yeah, I have taken that up again after somewhat tiring of the repeated visuals on iOS. I was pretty good with it 20 years ago but damn it's a hard dig, and mostly to no avail, to remember all the ways of working it. It's a true beast though and it might be worth the effort. Photoshop for Video. 😳😁 I only have it for a year though as I got a real good offer for the whole Adobe package (about 30$ for a year) then we'll see.

  • Impressive stuff from just one synth, loved the bass. Great visuals as well 👍

    Thanks Tony! Well appreciated. 😊

  • @Pxlhg Just noticed this thread, I’m guessing these are the same patches for Dagger as your 4 app patch pack?

  • Sadly I can’t get the presets as Dagger does not come up as an option for me

  • @Fear2Stop

Do it inside dagger open preset menu then hit the import button which opens files.

I was just able to download them by clicking the Dropbox link, and then hit “export” on the Dropbox screen (instead of choosing “copy to Dropbox”) and it allowed me to save them to files in iOS no problem ..
