Valves is a vintage valve emulation plugin with multimode resonant filter and cabinet/EQ section.
The valve section is modelled after classic vintage tubes, with added grit and custom gain control.
The filter section is modelled after a classic ladder filter (2-pole or 4-pole) with low pass, high pass, bandpass and notch modes.
The cabinet/EQ section features a selection of modelled cabinets with classic bass and treble EQ controls.

Looks good!
I’m into this
Is it some sort of non-specific amp sim?
I need to start using some of these Audiothing things that I keep buying.
This has survived a few plugin culls on my desktop setup. Great quality and 'immediate' tone-shaping fun!
This was the start of all my problems with tubes and valves that led to the workshop of madness. It was another freebie from plugin boutique I think, and they say to never look a gifthorse in the mouth 😂
Splendidly simple and lovely sounds…
Looks cool!
Oh god...the slippery slope. One minute you've got a nice clean desk with a sleek black ipad in it, the next thing you know you're drowning in gear
Well, tbh I’d already got Ableton and a synth or three on the go by that point, but this opened the gate wide enough to fit half a studio and a pile of dead electronics through 😅
Maybe it should come with a warning sticker!
I’m fascinated, though. So far I haven’t managed to resist any of the AudioThing plugins - tried it with Mantis and ended up caving (though it’s not made it to a finished piece yet). I was hoping this might be the one to break my addiction, but it’s looking like I might as well stump up the cash the minute it’s out and at least avoid the agonising! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
i’m in the same boat. interesting, affordable and fun tools....i just never tend to reach for them in a project
Right on, I like this one a lot. It’s not their most exciting effect but it does what it says it does very well. I’ve been playing my guitar a lot lately so good timing on this one
Honestly sometimes the less exciting ones are the ones I use the most as they’re usually less niche and more broadly applicable.
Same. I just gave up resisting lol. I haven’t had a desktop in years now but have always loved AudioThings plugins from afar so I was stoked when they announced they were coming to iOS. I knew right then I’d probably get the vast majority of them 😂
This looks cool! Tube distortion, filter, and an EQ with soft and hard clipping on the master. Right up my alley.
Now we just need Frostbite, Convolver 2, Minibit, and all the drum machine apps 🤩 not sure if they’re planning on porting EVERYTHING but I do hope we get a couple more instruments and effects. The drum plugins look great.
@ninobeatz have they given a release date?

Sounds good! Thanks for posting.
Another one to add to the list…
sigh it grows more and more every day. According to AUBE I have 704 Audio Units. So how is there still so many I want 😫
LOL!
What have I done?? 🫠🥴
And I thought I was an appoholic. 😂
@HotStrange makes us ‘humble’ and ‘resourceful’, who cares if we know it isn’t true, haha! 🤣
LOL.
Does it tell you how much you've spent?
I'm down to 204 AUv3's installed and I don't miss any functionality
Not as of yet
It’s usually about a week from announcement to release.
Thankfully not and I sincerely hope that feature isn’t added 🤣
I’m just trying to make you guys feel better 😂
