Any coyote that accidentally ties an anvil onto his tail can’t be all that sharp…
Yes my bad 😬
How many coyote have you seen that can tie a knot ?
Oh Gav....what have you unleashed...?
Hahaha! Great point
A
Credible
Master of
Everything
the irony i have always been surprised at in life… people that are extremely smart, have very little common sense.
The main reasons his plans usually fail, is because he lacks the common sense that would alert him to obvious flaws in his plans.
So yes I believe he is a Genius
He’s a victim of consumerism.
The latest product from ACME will not change your life!
Maybe you guys can clarify one old doubt of mine. I grew up watching these and other cartoons, and I always wondered about ACME. Was or is it a real company? What’s with the running gag? It’s funny either way. 😂
Not real.
It is like calling your car repair garage "Absolute Best Car Repairs".
Yeah that’s what I thought but you never know with those crazy gringos
There was a real company called ACME, I think there might have been several, I think they were everywhere in the ‘20s so it was used by looney tunes as a catch all joke…
Randomly in a discord group about valve electronics I’m on, this just popped up 😅
@Krupa 😂
Wikipedia for the win. Very interesting actually!
The name Acme comes from the Greek (ἀκμή, English transliteration: akmē), meaning summit, highest point, extremity or peak.[3] It has been falsely claimed to be an acronym, either for "A Company Making Everything", "American Companies Make Everything", or "American Company that Manufactures Everything."[4][5] During the 1920s, the word was commonly used in the names of businesses in order to be listed toward the beginning of alphabetized telephone directories like the Yellow Pages, and implied being the best. It is used in an ironic sense in cartoons, because the products are often failure-prone or explosive.[6]
The name Acme began being depicted in film starting in the silent era, such as the 1920 Neighbors with Buster Keaton and the 1922 Grandma's Boy with Harold Lloyd, continuing with TV series, such as in early episodes of I Love Lucy and The Andy Griffith Show, comic strips and cartoons, especially those made by Warner Bros.,[7] and commercials. It briefly appeared in the Walt Disney Donald Duck episodes Cured Duck released in 1945 and Three for Breakfast released in 1948. It also appears as the ACME Mining company owned by the villain Rod Lacy in the 1952 Western The Duel at Silver Creek and in a 1938 short Violent Is the Word for Curly where The Three Stooges appear as gas station attendants at an Acme Service Station. It was also used in The Pink Panther Show, where the name Acme was used on several episodes of the show's first installment in 1969, one of them being "Pink Pest Control".
In the spirit of the internet, I disagree with @Gavinski’s thorough and definitive findings… 😜🍻
He is a genius. Sadly his fine attention to detail and dedication to exhaustive rehearsal when at home eventually led to a reluctant divorce from then Mrs Coyote.
Most genius end up that way unfortunately.
If Wile.E.Coyote is a genius, what does that make Roadrunner??
Lucky.
Fast
Roadrunner has a boring life
Coyotes can run faster than roadrunners (source: "Qi's 1,339 Facts To Make Your Jaw Drop" page 331).
Einstein was not fast. Issac Newton couldn’t even dodge a damn Apple. Tesla on the other hand could teleport.
He’s OK, but he’s no Amon Tobin…
My spirit animal.
I keep him in my trophy cabinet, next to my medals for showing up, and a shoulder board from my first posting as a skipper.
“There’s the coyote”
Corrado Soprano
Shhh…don’t tell the coyote.
Nice 👍
And, let's face it, Amon is no Quim Barreiros...
