Synths with feedback routing?
Aside from making something in drambo or whatnot are there any ios synths apart from mononoke or ivcs3 that allow you to route oscillators to feedback on themselves or other oscillators a la Elmyra, Lyra 8 or recursive machine? I'm talking crazy signal paths... Something a bit like this...
Comments
I've modified mine to have feedback available internally, with a rear-panel switch (instead of physically routing the output back to the input).
what synth ?
Are you talking about the feedback between the delay 2 and delay 1? I am not seeing other feedback in that block. Am I missing something?
sorry yes it's not so clear... my fault! It's not shown on the diagram, but you can patch the different modules back into other modules.
Oh I thought of a couple!
Thermosynth

The block diagram doesn't indicate where the output re-enters the signal chain. Where does it come back in?
The iMS-20 has a way to route its output into the external audio input if I remember correctly. Audulus can be set up to create synths with feedback. Moog Model 15 allows some internal feedback paths. At a meta level, you can create feedback loops in AUM or Loopy Pro.
Can you use midi to modulate synths with oscillators from other synths in aum.
oh you answered my question. time to delve into AUM! Thanks!
Tera Pro also can do feedback paths.
ooh that's interesting!!
I know the hardware synth allows this so I’d imagine iMS20 does as well. It’s a ton of fun.
I’ve been watching this with interest. You can do a lot of feedback patching with MiRack, which is beginning to feel like my answer to everything, but it’s really versatile!
I’ve had a go at recreating what you have in the schematic. The extra mixers (3 coloured knobs) are there to allow extra inputs into the modules - you can patch an output to multiple places, but can only have one input cable, just like with hardware modules. They have the added advantage you can tweak the levels and polarity.
Anyway, patch photo:
Hey this looks really cool, thanks for sharing dude!
You did an exact schematic, marvelous! Those mini mixers per individual fx modules are really handy. Now I need to test these crazy signal paths, haha. Only maybe I’ll squeeze some gate sequencer in that secondary feedback path between distortion and filter. 🤩
Well here’s my sign to learn more about MiRack 😂 looks great though! I’ll have to try this one out.
@sevenape @Luxthor @HotStrange Thanks, guys.
Hope it lives up to expectations - it seems capable of shrieks, growls, and little tinkly sounds.
You pretty much just described 90% of my music so it’s perfect for me 😆
Likewise, actually!
Doesn't the Model D have a feedback loop ?
Mi Rack has not let me down with any of my *begginersish) ideas or lil concepts. Sometimes I just don know where to plug them cables hah! I can get overwhelmed easily as you basically have a cataougue of the sickest rack mount stuff that would cost SO much , I feel so lucky! Cheers, keep us posted with audio samples/
Yes, it's the External Input Volume knob
If you’re looking for feedback, check out the upcoming app from Igor Vassilev. There’s a thread in here, it looks wild. It’s like a closed audio loop with no audio input needed if that makes sense, lol
Here it is, not sure if it’s exactly what you’re looking for but surely looks interesting for feedback fun and all kinds of noises
