NS2 - how to delete duplicate user instruments?

I have inadvertently imported a zip of instruments into NS2 3 times giving me 2 duplicates of each instrument.
When I go into settings-manage audio files-obsidian-user I can see them all there and select them but the ‘send to trash’ icon is greyed out.
Any idea how to delete them? There’s several hundred!!

apple files .. go to “on my ipad > nanostudio2 > Instruments > Obsidian > User” and delete duplicate files .. or delete everything and then import it again .. when you delete them in “Files” app you need to go in Files app into “deleted files” folder and delete them also there …

After you do any change in Apple Files, in NS2 you need to tap “manage” and “refresh” to see changes in NS parch list

You can do it all directly in NS / Obsidian patch browser, in “‘manage” mode in you can selwct multiple files from list on righr side and thn delete them ..

But personally when i want to delete / move multiple files i do it rather in Apple Files app.

Do not forget that everytime you delete some files in Apple Files, you neeed flush thwm also from “deleted files” folder otherwise “manage>refresh” in NS will restore them

  • Thanks @dendy
I do wonder though why it’s not possible to delete in the way I was originally attempting!

  • patches can be deleted only in patch browser cause Obsidian patch it essentially folder with some files innit and audoo files manager in NS is mentioned for amanagemwnt of audio files .

It’s fail safe solution to avoid unintentional deletion of patches

    Oh! That’s an important tip!
    Thanks!
