Does the iPad version of Logic have Flex Pitch? How does it compare to Vocal Tune Studio?

I’m at a crossroads here: I will either subscribe to Logic just for the vocal pitch engine (won’t download the content since my Auria installation already has 20 GB worth of libraries plus all the plugins) or buying VTS. I would prefer the latter, but I wonder if Logic’s pitch engine is so much more powerful so it would be a money better spent.

    No Flex Pitch…however the real-time pitch correction is quite good

    VTS here I come. I wanted Flex Pitch mostly because you can make instant backing vocals and or export MIDI from vocal melodies with it, the way it is with Melodyne.

    Me either but I won it so I found out yesterday - only thing is I hope you can chain it to other effects. Like if you can insert it before another vocal effect

    Yeah lack of this is the biggest tease of all time….they included all the other flexes 😅

    Wim, I dunno. It was not so much about LPX but about a comparison between VTS and one of supposed LPX’s features. So I’d still say general app discussion, I posted it here by choice. If you disagree, please report it the mods to take a look and make the appropriate changes if the case.

    I have VTS used in Garageband, worked very very well! have yet to try it in [insert app that shall not be mentioned] not sure though i’ve seen anyone try it in Auria Pro either

    Also check out MusicPutty. I don’t think it’s AUV3 but very feature rich. And has midi and audio export.
