Playing Multitrack outputs into individual speakers
Hello,
I'm a novice in this area. What I'm trying to learn is this...
Is there a way to output individual tracks from a multitrack player into a device that will then output those audio tracks as individual home speaker outputs?
I'd like to play some multitracks from my favorite bands into individual speakers. The output would be something akin to listening to a virtual recording studio of each band member playing his instrument/vocal in the room. Kinda like you sitting there with the different guitars/ drums/ keyboards/ etc. in different locations based on where I put the speakers.
Thinking something along the lines of 8 speakers in the room.
Any ideas?
Thanks!!

You’d need an audio interface with eight outputs. The K-mix could totally do this, but only with active (powered) speakers.
