Audiotune
I am new but I hope this post is useful despite my lack of experience; I know a lot of people need auto tune. some don’t know which to get maybe?
This isn’t a big popular choice…The only two I know about is $19.99! On sale it’s $15. The other ones have more features but if pitch correction is all you need then Audiotune does the job and it’s less then $5 with taxes.
It works as AUV3 or standalone for whatever you might use that for? It also is simple , just pick key, scale and boom , pitch correct
If you need a custom scale you can also choose that yourself and set to be flat or sharp
It works with other plugins too, like I ran it with another effect and it corrected the pitch too
I think it works with MIDI?
(I think it can work on instrument single notes.)
I am not giving a great example because I just downloaded it a few minutes ago but the trial was successful and satisfying because a lot of people talk nonsense in the reviews about AudioKit Pro (like this wasn’t updated in a couple of years so people trash it just for that, or that they don’t know how to use it or that it crashes and this or that , or didn’t save) and @AnalogMatthew deserves a lot more credit for making such inexpensive but really good software.
I bought two items from them in the past, and Retro Piano gets no mentions or anything but it’s such a nice cheap piano, and it has both electric and upright .
My bad, derailed myself, point is:
IF YALL NEED AUTOTUNes , before you buy the $15+ one buy this first
You can get another app with all the saving
Hope this helps anyone looking for the cheapest autotune ever

In my little experience audiotune just doesn’t do the job
Sorry it didn’t work for you. What did you buy instead? What did it cost regular? I’m asking for comparative reasons
i like the sound and dynamics of audio tune. never the less it is still al little buggy. custom scales are not remembered when hosted as auv3 e.g. in AUM or Camelot. but i still like it!
Just pointing out that I witter on about Retro Piano reasonably frequently. It’s probably my favourite AudioKit app, and some of the wilder presets work their way into my stuff often. I’m with you on not knowing why it gets so little love - it’s wonderful in a range of contexts.
Maybe it got caught in the wash of negativity that erupted due to the “Limited Edition” AudioKit apps, where they’d be reasonably priced for a period every now and then, but then they’d put the price up to something stupid in between. I kind of get what they were trying to do, but I think it alienated a lot of people at the time. Which is sad, really.
Yeah unfortunately but somewhat understandably that probably did put some people off. I personally love their apps and own them all except this one and 909. Retro Piano is also one of my favorites of the bunch. Being able to blend the CS80 patch with the piano is such a cool idea.
Vocal tune pro is the one that works for me
i like the waves tune in cubasis, works for me.
@dreamcartel Audiotune is cool, but I think Vocal Tune Pro and Vocal Tune Studio are good options too on iOS. They are available in Audio Evolution Mobile DAW or as separate standalone apps. Waves in Cubasis is also good.
Vocal Tune Pro is real-time pitch correction while Vocal Tune Studio is both time and pitch correction, making it more powerful.
I’m not a developer and I get upset when people leave bad reviews simply because they don’t know how to use the app, or for some other reason that doesn’t pertain to the app directly. I mean if it’s honest that’s one thing but when they are obviously user error issues, I just disregard that review. Problem is it pulls down the overall rating which just isn’t right. Also sometimes people leave a bad review, app gets fixed or updated, but the review never does. I think it’s important to update reviews, if you leave a review and the issues you had are resolved.
Cheers and welcome, even though we already met in another thread.
I tried audiotuen again and it worked good until I lowered the speed of reaction, then the pitch goes wild with a very unnatural glissando.
I strongly recommend vocal tune pro
I didn’t know there was a third option, I only saw the voices and vocal tuner studio for $15. For $7 that’s def not bad if it’s much better.
It's a really good auto tune!

I let the link here because there seem to be some confusion lol
Hey, thanks a lot! Really appreciate the kind words – though I gotta admit, I wasn't the one behind the code or the interface stuff on AudioTune. So, I can't exactly vouch for it.
Now, when it comes to AudioKit apps that I've had the pleasure of being the lead developer and can recommend: SAGA, King of FM, King of Bass, SNESynth, and, the upcoming King of Digital (D1 replacement).
I also worked on Retro Piano and HOUSE: Mark I, and they still seem rather solid? 🤷♂️
For those wondering about the stability of newer AK apps? I'd recommend trying out the free King of FM to see if it works on your setup: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/king-of-fm-dx-synth-e-piano/id1672644102
That explains it 😅
