Korg Gadget with Korg Module
I’ve got Korg Module (not Pro) and I’m trying out Korg Gadget LE. Is it possible to open Module in Gadget?
Comments
With Module installed you get multiple Gadgets in Gadget so there's no BIG 'Module Gadget' but many smaller Gadgets...
@looperboy I expect the Module gadgets won’t show up in Gadget LE. It’s limited to 3 gadgets (London, Marseille, Dublin).
Module only has 1 Gadget. Just a piano. But it’s not showing up.
Will it show up if I have the full version of Gadget?
Guess you need the full version of Gadget then as the LE version is more though of as a 'demo' and can not be expanded to the full version of Gadget...
Thanks! But it will work with the full Gadget?
Since both Module and Module Pro use the same IAP sound-packs it should work.
The main difference is that the non-pro version of Module is free and ships with less sounds that the pro version but all the pro-sounds are available as IAPs for the non-pro version so they should in theory behave the same...
I don't work for Korg so I can only guess
I have the full version of Gadget and the free version of Module, they work fine together.
It adds the 6 different modules (Fairbanks, Salzburg etc.), and if you buy IAPs these also become available inside Gadget in their respective gadgets.
You don't need to purchase Module Pro, or the "Essential Complete" IAP for the gadgets to show up, but of course they will only have the most basic sound for each respective module until you buy more stuff.
Great! Thanks.
That's incorrect. Module is spread over a couple of Gadgets. Salzberg for the acoustic piano plus others such as Montreal and Frienze. If Salzberg isn't showing up then it must be a limitation of LE.
