Suicide In Black Suit
Here is what I call my vision of music creation: "Considering that life is presented as a progressing society, an early refusal to opt came into mind. Deconstructivism sounded like the only key, although being part of this society is mandatory, our minds remained un-overused."
I created this project, Suicide In Black Suit, around one week ago. I've composed 4 uncomplete demos (to be in the future mixed and mastered by a studio that I've contacted) and a self mixed/mastered single, which is nothing less than a Spiritual Front cover: Jesus Died In Las Vegas. It was a, not so old in fact, will to cover one of their songs, as I'm a passionate of their work, but I wasn't ready at all in 2019 when I seriously started experiencing music composition styles. I hope I honored the band with this cover, that I'm very satisfied of.
Hope you enjoy the sound.
Cheers
Synospis: "Slowly dying, Jesus died in our consiousness."
Comments
I was not familiar with the band or the song. I listened to the original after listening to your cover. I like yours better. It’s much more musically interesting, to me at least. I especially liked when you brought in the strings at 1:42. The lack of vocals is more than compensated by the variety of sounds you employ. I don’t think you need to take this to another studio. Your mix sounds excellent to me. Just my opinion.
Thanks Paulieworld, I don't intend to send the track to a studio, I'm also satisfied of my mix and master of this one. The other 4 demos are to be sent to a studio, since especially there are vocals to rerecord, and I'm not working in a "respectable" studio hehe
Another cover.
The music is very good, but the video is difficult to watch. Each of these people were real, and had family, loved ones, and friends. Will we ever learn? I have faith.
Thank you, and I'm aware of that, just I wanted to impact on the mind of the auditors with this video, to be closer of the real. I have faith too.
Edit: by the way the single (maybe EP, since I intend to cover DM - Enjoy The Silence and КИНО - Песня без слов but I am not yet sure) is named "Humain, Trop Humain", litteraly "Human, Too Human" which is a Nietzsche quote. By choosing this name I denounce our "bad ideas", or the "results of our creations and inventions", something "too human", no more "natural", our "tools expanded from our minds". Since I have a very Nietzschean mind, it came naturally to my thought. And this The Man Who Sold The World complete ideally Jesus Died In Las Vegas, I feel.
Depeche Mode - Enjoy The Silence (cover)
I think I'll stop at 3 tracks, making a Kino cover in this moment would be daring too much, and I think those 3 tracks fully complete the EP.
Cheers.
