Sent some bugs/ideas to Apple. Now let's pray :)
- Ditch the back button. Everyone is tapping that in the middle of browsing samples and they get out of the project. Maybe in the contextual menu, near EXPORT, you can add [Save, Save a copy, Toggle auto save]. That would be dope!
- Maybe try to move the project title + menu in the middle and move the playback controls & display to the left. It'll be easier to reach with the thumb when you hold your iPad.
- Also, a nice UX improvement would be to have the top bar at the bottom, especially when working with MIDI keyboards.
- The browser would be nice to stretch full height, even when you have the keyboard open.
- Dragging a region to a DMD pad results in a blank pad. The same goes for dragging multiple regions.
- Dragging one or multiple regions to the sidebar and choosing "Create new track with DMD" also picks up the first region and slices it automatically instead of creating a DMD with the regions.
There were a few others but I think these are important.
Of course I was polite
I really love what they did with 1.0 and I think these would make it even better.

Good ideas! The back button drives me crazy sometimes.
I also wish Logic would remember the size of my AUs after closing back and going back into it.
Yeah, a lot can be added. Since iOS apps support multiple windows, they could've leveraged this and allow us to pop open multiple EQ windows. Honestly I think it would've been overkill on a Mini or even on a 10" iPad... but it's a good workflow to pin a .. meter or something while you alter the EQ on something else. But that's a nice to have.
The ones above are a must. I mean the browser is totally unusable while the keys are open.
Agreed. There’s lots to like about Logic but some things in there that also make it feel like it was a rush job. I’m hoping an update comes soon otherwise people may start abandoning it.
