Store offline Tidal songs on SSD to use within Djay??
I sometimes use Djay for jamming and friends’ parties.
I’ve just found out you can stream audio files from an SSD to Djay.
Anyone know if it’s possible to store Spotify downloads on the SSD to access these within Djay?
Comments
I can’t tell you; I don’t have an SSD.
But I too, use Djay for family get togethers.
All I know, as do you I’m sure, is that Djay allows you to set and save? multiple cue points, but won’t allow you to sample or record streaming songs. But what you Can do is put Loopy Pro on the Main Out Effect 😎
Am hoping I might be able to play from my multiple Spotify playlists but free up space on my iPad. Not interested in recording/sampling
Apologies - I meant Tidal not Spotify. Djay stopped using Spotify a couple of years ago. Title amended
I have Tidal and a nice old style music player ( A Zishan DSD, with a good dac and opamp), and I make copies of the audio stream with this program:

I record in 24 bit/96khz flac but wave and mp3 is also possible. They renew the software every year, and have huge discount mid season.
