It seems like the developer's account has been hacked.
I wouldn't be surprised if the studiomux app was actually malware.

Why do you say the developer's account has been hacked?

Why do you say the developer's account has been hacked?

Because the Developer's "Beta Programme Website" directs to midimux.com.
But he probably doesn't even care about that, as is happens since more than 4 days already.

It could be but hacking a redirection is orders of magnitude easier than hacking someone’s computer to be able to perform an app build and successfully submit it to TestFlight. Hacking a build and submission process would require direct access to the developer’s Mac whereas a redirection exploit doesn’t.

The build and submit setup for AppStore and TestFlight submission would be non-trivial to hack. Redirection exploits are pretty easy…particularly for older web sites.

    It is very strange.

  • I had the app removed from TestFlight all together but it showed up the other day anyway, but I have not installed it. I too went to that midimux gaming site (as I was curious) and scratched my head. :D

  • Also, I don’t think midimux.com was recently their beta site. At least in 2020 till now, beta stuff was on the zerodebug site itself. They may have stopped maintaining that domain years ago or let the registration lapse

  • It is odd that they haven’t posted anything on their forum. I’ll probably wait to install till some confirmation pops up on yhe beta forum.

I don’t know whether the dev is trolling a bit by not communicating, hates communicating or has trouble communicating

like what if he’s on his deathbed using all his might to try and leave a decent legacy by trying to lift a finger to code a working smux or wut

The dev has always seemed like a decent person. So, I would doubt that they are trolling.
