Been away

I have been away from making music for a few years, I like making techno, deep house and trance. I’m ready to get back to making music. What has changed within the last 2 years? Has there been any fantastic apps that has been released within the last 2 years that I should know about?
It’s hard to find new apps these days without spending months watching YouTube videos so thought I would reach out and see if you great guys have any suggestions for me

For techno check out Hilda https://apps.apple.com/nl/app/hilda-synthesizer/id6447191659

  • Drambo has seen a lot of great updates.

Also NanoStudio now supports audio tracks…

    Oh sorry, wrong timeline

  • There’s been sooo many big apps released over the last 2 years so it’s way too hard to name some. I’d search the new releases in the search bar or check out Doug’s videos.

  • Just get Logic Pro or Zenbeats (or both).

  • Some of my favorites for making electro and Acid are Pure Acid, Hammerhead, Dagger, Sunrizer and Poison-202. Throw in Drambo for a host/ amazing sequencer.

  • I find Drambo excellent for Techno. You can deep dive into and learn overtime what is missing in it for you in the auv3 world.
