Komp 2.0 Beta now available
Hello all,
If you have any interest in taking a look at an alternate approach to creating music notation using handwriting recognition, the Komp 2.0 Beta can be joined here: https://testflight.apple.com/join/v5HIE8kk This is a TestFlight link, so you will need to be comfortable using Apple's TestFlight application. It is fairly simple to set up and get started.
A wiki describing various features of Komp is here: https://github.com/SemitoneGene/Komp-Support/wiki The documentation is sparse and I am filling it in as I create the demonstration script for the videos that will show how to use Komp. The documentation and programing department is just me so you may have to just discover features until I get them all documented.
You can ask for support, file bugs and request features here: https://github.com/SemitoneGene/Komp-Support/issues All the issues, bugs and product roadmap publicly available. This seems to be the best approach to developing an application with such a small and focussed community of users.
I have been the sole developer and user of Komp, so I am sure there will be many issues as I tend to get stuck in well-worn paths as I am developing features.
I know it is a lot to ask for public help with beta testing, but it is the best option for using the limited resources that I have.
Thanks so much for taking the time to take a look at this post. I hope some of you are able to take a look at Komp and let me know what you think!

Thanks for sharing. I’ll give it a try.
@SemitoneGene
Unfortunately the TestFlight link in the first paragraph didn’t work, it said beta not found…
@SemitoneGene
I got this message.
Sorry about that. The link was truncated. Here is the correct one: https://testflight.apple.com/join/v5HIE8kk
I'll fix the link in the post as well.
No worries, happy to test it out, cheers!
It worked
Awesome. Thanks for checking it out! I'll be standing by to fix the inevitable issues.
