So they’re moving into the software world? I remember them saying at one point they would only do analog hardware but I see that’s changing now.

Announcing hardware. Maybe announcing software is going to be their new line of announcements.

Yeah.. there were speculations about DAW with bundled synth plugins equivalent to their HW portfolio .. that would be big thing, but doesn't expecting it will be for iPad..

  • Nothing in their website or Facebook account.

I’m honestly concerned about Behringer's attempt to make anything like DAW. Because it will be some reskinned abandoned project with IAP loot boxes filled with random synths and fx. 😂

    Behringer:

    • “It’s now official. We will be creating our own Music Tribe DAW.”
    • “This is a massive undertaking, which will take at least 18 months and for that purpose we have now assembled a large development team.”
    • “Our Music Tribe DAW will also include samples and VSTs plus connections to third-party VSTs. Our goal is to include the very best features available, including multiple user interfaces for both recording and DJ.”
    • “We would love to develop this together with you and hence encourage you to share your preferred platforms and features so we can consider your input. Our opportunity is that we have no legacy platform to maintain, which will allow us to think “blue sky” and combine the “best of all worlds”.”
    • “Best of all, the DAW will be FREE of charge! Our goal is to empower all musicians to record, mix, edit and publish their music.”

    Edit: Source.

  • Nothing on twitter either

I wouldn’t touch it even if it was free. It’ll just be a rip off of logic or GarageBand anyway.

  • How about they concentrate on making the rest of the stuff they promised years ago first?

  • ^^^but that article was from March of 2020

@cyberheater where did you see this “teaser”?

I guess it fills the time while people are waiting on the actual products.

  • It was indeed a firmware update (2.0) for WING

    Thanks.

That’s the last time I’m going to get hyped over a Behringer announcement.

Obviously a lot more of the latter than the former…

  • maybe they’ll announce subscriptions on all the hardware we already own
