Issues with Loopy pro and midi controlers
Hi,
I want to control LP with Airstep and Morningstar MC6 (using Widi).
Both Airstep and Widi are connected to my Ipad and appear connected in BLE-Midi app too, when I launch LP, they appear as not connected and impossible to connect.
This happens not every time but very often which prevents from a normal and daily use. I have not this problem with Quantiloop. Any clue?
Thanks

BLE Midi connections are handled by the OS in the dialog you are showing. It’s my understanding that the host has no influence. Btw, the connection can be made from any app as the connectivity is system wide.
What BLE-Midi app are you talking about?
What happens if you reboot and try to connect directly from Loopy Pro?
Make sure that you have given loopy permission for Bluetooth…some had similar issues several months ago and the issue was that they had accidentally disabled Bluetooth permissions for Loopy.
Bluetooth permission is enabled.
I try to reboot and connect from loopy, same result. Once in a while it works but the day after no way to connect. It gives me headhaches.
Connect BLE-MIDI is an app from KORG that allows easy connections with Korg Bluetooth MIDI compatible controllers .
here is what shows COnnect BLE-Midi
The BlueTooth connection dialog from inside Loopy Pro should be all you need. What you are describing is very unusual.
Do you have AUM? If so, are you able to connect to the pedals from AUM?
Can you download the free midimttr app and try it?
If you connect with either of those apps and then launch loopy, what status do you see for the pedals in Loopy’s Bluetooth connections window? They should still show as connected since Bluetooth connections are global.
Also, can you post a screenshot of the loopy Bluetooth permissions? To make sure we are talking about the same thing.
The problem you are having is not typical. So there is something unusual going on.
As a beta tester I was using the current beta version. I choose to uninstall it and instal the curent public version and the problem disappeared.
If you are a beta tester, can you reinstall the beta and if the problem returns, report? I am guessing that delete and reinstall fixed broken permissions.
