Nice sounds, especially the choir, but buying all packs is still like paying full price for several desktop synths and a whole lot of them for iOS. Too rich for my little hobby

@VirSyn I don’t own either Audiolayer or Xinematix but I’m wondering whether it’s possible - or might be possible in a future update - for users to choose to delete the Xinematix factory sound banks in order to massively cut down its installation size? For those users who might just want to use Xinematix as a player app for their own instruments created in Audiolayer, 2.2gb is a hefty storage price to have to pay in order to do so.

The MPE applied to orchestras is pretty epic! It can make orchestras do things they could rarely do in the real world.
The drop in pack pricing will and MPE will definitely pry open my wallet for more sounds.
I tried adding more layers of samples to some existing XinematiX sounds and it works. This will be worth investingating.
I like a lot of Roli Noise instruments because they have percussive attacks so layering on a Xither or Xylophone to some moody pad can be useful. There are a ton of samples on Piano Book now that can be layered onto these sounds.
@VirSyn, Is it possible to delete sound banks, for example, "Factory Sounds 1.9GB"? There is only one option: "Cleanup Demo Storage". This is a to be or not to be option for me.
Not at the moment. The problem are the dependencies: there are samples used in more than one library, especially the factory sounds picked samples from other sound libraries of course. The same is true for your own AudioLayer creations: you may use samples in more than one instrument. That was also the reason why there is no real "delete instrument+samples".
But I know it is very important to be able to do this and I actually planned a safe deletion of samples in this release, but it wasn't ready foe "prime time". The next update will include an intelligent delete function beyond the "Cleanup demo storage".
So I had to temporarily offload Xinematix due to low storage size left on my iPad. I only had 1 IAP and the factory sounds but it was still taking up 14 gb of storage. Is that typical or was there an issue? I did the demo cleanup multiple times but nothing ever changed. If it’ll only take up 2ish gb I could reinstall now.
Yes, that would be fantastic; managing sample banks in apps like XinematiX is crucial. Thanks for the quick response, I’m just in the process of selecting the libraries. 😅
That seems way to much. The demo cleanup only removes samples from demos already expired. Is it possible that they were not expired yet?
From what I remember, I hadn’t demoed any new packs for multiple weeks at the time I noticed it. I’m reinstalling now and will report back with the results. Is the sale going on through all of September?

Is there any way you can get rid of the dreadful delay slathered all over a lot of the xinematix samples? It sounds WOEFUL. So tacky and amateur. Especially on orchestral stuff.
I mean… it’s actually unusable in its current state in any recording really. Which is a shame because there’s some nice stuff. I’ll have to get refunds and get rid of it if that isn’t changed.
