Da Blues (Svetlovska/Ailerom Collaboration)

Heavyocity in full effect! :) Love the skritch-scratch edge this has.

  • I love the intertwining of the guitar and the backing. Excellent guitar work!

  • I didn't find that dissonant or cacophonous at all (maybe just a reflection of my state of mind  ) - it was quite relaxing, actually. The guitar and choice of chords in those changes fit really well - excellent playing too!

  • I like this song. Great collaboration here, works brilliantly. Definitely makes me want to rethink what the hell I’ve been doing lol

    Good job +

(I just realized even when you reply in creations it puts it on front page so my bad for like machine gun listening and posts)

  • Very cool version with plenty of nice ideas and great playing all along.

  • Not dissonant at all for me. Interesting that you took a ‘major’ approach (as opposed to the ‘minor’ blues). Really melodic intervallic playing, lots of 6ths - love that sound. Good stuff!

I think that is because I thought I was recording something for Svetlovska to use so I didn't bother tuning up a semitone. I was really just trying to record some ideas thinking it would all get chopped up later. I also had left it a few days so I hurried a bit because I felt like I had said I'd record something and then didn't get around to it for a few days. So in the end I just found the root and went for it. I would normally tune up to concert pitch.
