Am I The Alien?

edited September 2023 in Creations

This is one of the strangest this I’ve ever done. It started with a single Piano Motif and four instances of Nambu. Then I just started added stuff. I used Ravenscroft, Riffler (audio and MIDI), ThumbJam for the flute part, some rhythm tracks from DrumJam and Launchpad, iSymphonic for the string bass parts, Animoog, DRC, Guitarscaper, and a few others. I finally used iVCS3.

What if we are the aliens?

  • Reminds me of modern sci fi movies. Loving it! You and @Svetlovska have convinced me that Piano Motifs is the mutts nutts! A reasonable price when you factor in the IAP unlocks. :)

Hey Jim. I know you are a trained pianist, but Piano Motifs provides a lot of ideas to build from. It’s less than lunch money, and lasts forever. Thanks for listening!

Once the rest of this month's bills are paid and my mechanic is paid, Piano Motifs is next on my list!

  • @Paulieworld, pretty intense at the beginning! Awesome development and instrumentation of the motif. Is the truth out there?

@jwmmakerofmusic , can't wait to hear where your creativity will send the motifs to. Hopefully you'll get your money's worth. BTW, if you're not planning on sending MIDI directly from the standalone app to other apps or external hardware, you're fine with just purchasing the AUv3 MIDI plug-in IAP.

Thanks for the tip mate. :) Cheers.

  • Are you the alien? Definately. You got out there in a really good way. Those tight twirling riffs are really good (Riffler?).

Great collection of apps in the mix. It would make a great Cinematic score to create the tension for a thriller.

  • Slightly frenetic, with an underlying strangeness and charm. Quarktastic!
Nice to hear Thumbjam and Drumjam getting an outing as well!

Yes, that is Riffler. The MIDI export function produces some unexpected results. I have been thinking of trying some 70s style fusion with it. Have a good one.

Thank you! ThumbJam was one of my first apps when I got into this. A bit like GeoShred but only in one dimension. Great for simple melodies and insane arpeggios. DrumJam is great, too. I would love to see an auv3 version of those!

Nice to hear from you. Hope you are both living life to the fullest. Peace!

  • Love your kitchen sink tracks Paul (hope that makes sense in America 🤨)
I guess if there is anybody out there we are by definition all Aliens.

Makes perfect sense. Ironically, I was just discussing that very thing with another forum member recently. I tend to get carried away at times, but I like it. More is more.

Years ago, I saw 5 UFOs in one night. I called the police the next day and I wasn’t the only one!
