32 midi chord progressions

Now that you can drag and drop to BM3 I thought I might share these I’ve made and saved.

Most are just 4 chords some has some arpeggios built in

It’s in ko-fi so I can populate my shop, but you can pay $0 and get it for free

  • I picked up the pack to see if I get some inspiration.

My usual issue with MIDI chords is that I typically want the chord spread across multiple channels so I can assign
instruments to “voice” the chords. Thankfully, @_Ki created a “Divisi” Mozaic script that does just that.

    To use this:
    1. load the @cokomairena MIDI chord progression into Atom 1 or 2.
    2. route the Atom MIDI to Mozaic with @_ki’s script loaded and set the options for 4-6 voices.
    3. point the Mozaic output to Atom 1 or 2 and record a new MIDI “pattern” with multiple channels.
    4. export the Multi-channel MIDI out of Atom to the file system or right into your favorite DAW if it manages MIDI files.

Optionally set up the Atom instance to route to multiple targets each configure on it’s own channel to hear the chords
played by en ensemble. In AUM, it’s also easy to shift octaves and create spread voicings that sound pretty epic.
Drop the root voice down and activate and maybe through a middle voice up an octave and get a more open sound.
