  • Pianoteq and Ableton are fine for me so far. Valhalla says its plugins all work fine. And Rogue Amoeba’s stuff is officially ok too.

  • Has anybody tried any of the Arturia V instrument plugins?

  • iZotope is not compatible with Sonoma.
    https://support.izotope.com/hc/en-us/articles/7445672367261-Compatibility-of-iZotope-Products-on-macOS

Currently, iZotope software and hardware products are not supported on macOS 14 Sonoma. We cannot recommend to update to macOS 14 at this point.

We are conducting systematic tests with macOS 14 in order to offer full compatibility of our software and hardware products as soon as possible.

Please note that even though the beta version of Sonoma has been available for some time, we ultimately need to ensure our product compatibility with the release version.

Yes, Analog Lab V is fine, as is Pigments.

That’s common from some software companies though - it’s more of a disclaimer in case anything goes wrong rather than a statement of incompatibility.

I’m going to upgrade today, so I’ll check if any of my iZotope products have issues.

Thank you, you are the brave one. ;) I’m in the middle of the mastering process, and I have no option for gambling.

  • All of my apps work fine; Live, Logic, Studio One, FCP, Myriad, as do all my plug ins from DMG, Izotope, Fabfilter, TDR, Sonic Charge, and Spectrasonics.

This guy scared me, so I joined in spreading the fear. You know, it’s one of the most powerful weapons of the “Spanish Inquisition”. ;)

  • Anyone tried NI komplete kontrol, machine or kontakt?

And thanks everyone for the info!

  • I always update pretty much day 1 and can only think of one time in the last 15 years i had to roll back due to software not working correctly. I like to live dangerously.

There are always idiots like this who take advantage of anything new to get clicks.

Updated mine a couple of hours ago and haven’t found any issues.

Thank you, Michael. Just to be on the safe side, I also need to test RX10, it’s even more important than Ozone and the rest of the suit.

I agree with you about certain YouTubers. 🤝

I’m still on RX 8 and that works.
