What’s your favorite saturator that works on iPhone?
I can’t decide on a good saturator auv3 for iPhone. I use fabfilter Saturn with ableton but sadly it’s not available for iPhone. Any recommendations?

Nothing close to Saturn for iPhone. Bit of a gap. This is my most used, nothing like Saturn, v subtle, always helps tho

@hghon : have a look at my WoodValvet ...

Woodman
Two good recommendations above, but I like FAC Bandit as it's capable of multiband saturation.

Take a look at BYOD.
The Moog Saturation fooger works on iPhone.
I know this is a new one but I was impressed by the results

ReelTape? Does it work?
Along with all the great apps mentioned here, the 2 Bleass apps are also great (Fusion and Saturator). Voltour from Nembrini is excellent as well.
And I gotta second BYOD. That and Saturn are my 2 favorites. If I didn’t have Saturn that would be my second choice without a doubt. It almost beats Saturn2 but not quite.
Any module you prefer in BYOD?
I can’t think of any single one off hand as I’m usually trying so many weird combos of effects whenever I’m using it. If I had to say, the LoFi IR would probably be the top. The diode Clipper and Rectifier are pretty great as well.
Don’t have any of the IAPs yet so I can’t comment on those.
I really like the 3 sat modes in Drambo along with CHOWTapeModel and ReelBus.
There are so many. Dig into them all.
Thanks guys! I’m getting somewhere with BYOD, much deeper than I thought!
It is so deep. Especially if you chain interesting variations...and some modules, like the wavefolder have interesting options.
ChowMultiTool, I don’t need anything more. If you need band-split saturation, there it is. If you need IR saturation and more than BYOD.
Nembribi Audio The Voltour !!!
Also @CaelumAudio Beef and Roast Beef are pretty fantastic
Isn't everything from Nembrini saturation of sorts?![;) ;)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
Yea you were not kidding that’s fantastic
@dendy I’m looking at it right now! Very interesting indeed. All the demos I’ve seen are more into rock and guitars, how’s it treating you with synths and bass synths?
I don’t really worry too much about saturation on the iPhone as I don’t tend to worry about saturation until I’m ready to mix and I don’t do that on my phone.
But if I do use saturation on the phone FAC Bandit is my go to. I like being able to just add some sparkle to the high end for example. It’s a cool plugin.
But what I do like using is a tape delay which I like to have a nice saturated sound on the repeats, leaving the dry nice and clean. I like K7D and re-1 on the phone for that.
I use the Nembrini apps almost solely on synths, drums, and samples and it works wonders! LoFi is one of my favorites, and the Voltour that Dendy mentioned has become one of the new apps that I reach for the most.
i like it a lot with synths ..
Beef and Roast Beef, BLEASS Fusion, Valves (been using this a lot lately, just subtly here and there adds a lot), FAC Bandit is still a mainstay - and NS2’s Waveshaper is a decent workhorse too
Between WoodValvet and the Moog one, which one are we liking? Both around the same price range but too pricey for me to get both…
Audiothing Valves is currently just $13 for the desktop version at audiodeluxe.com and you get IK multimedia Tapes 80 for free with any purchase.
I’ve been really loving WoodValvet. I have the Moog bundle but I don’t use the saturator as often as I do some of the others. The Voltour is really excellent as well. It’s probably my favorite of all the recent tube/valve saturation apps.
