Korg nanopad 2
So I recently bought a korg nanopad2. I have until sept 20 to return it.
I like the concept of having 16 pads and a xy pad. I don't like the feel of the pads or the fact the xy pad doesn't work smoothly, at least for me. The whole unit feels cheap as well.
I may return it and get a padKontrol or save my money for a korg taktile or a quneo.
Why are xy pad so rare on midi controllers?
Comments
Aturia SparkLE has what seems to me like a nice XP pad. Though it's not large. I have not tried using the unit as a stand alone midi controller, but I believe it can do that. You would need to check that the XY pad is properly included in the midi spec. I also have no idea if it plays nicely with an iPad.
Korg nanopad was my first midi controller..for 3 days. Feals cheap in every angle. Got akais version..feels so much better. Even better is my new mpk225 :-)
Heard Arturias hw is cheap feeling :-(
Im a beginner, but trust me, get taktile (you want a pad) you will not complain.
I own the Arturia Beatstep, used to own all 3 Korg Nanos. The Beatstep is superb and solid, not to mention it works as a step sequencer as well.
