Yep, upgrade price $79 🫤
!!!!!
There is also no mention of the iOS version. I guess it will have the same destiny as Graindad. 😕
Hopefully they will do a Thesys 2 soon.. looks great..
Hmm, that’s more than I expected. Might do it if it goes on sale.
Yup, should be like $49 or $59. So definitely not instant upgrade.
Is there a "what's new" on v2 ?
Pattern and modulation per step??? Idk….and interested
I have Looperator and enjoy that, and I have Turnado for iPad, I enjoy that as well.
I never bought Effectrix because somehow it didn't sound as good to me as their other plugins. It might have been my mood when I demoed it. I wonder if the quality of the effects is the same as in v1, or if that aspect has been improved? I think I'll download the demo this evening.
Here’s the link to the Official Sugar Bytes page on it. Lots of info and goodies to enjoy. Get me those Loopers. I hope it comes soon. Since there is no word of it yet I’m thinking it will be at least next year for iOS, but I’m also thinking it definitely will come.

Yeah those loopers look amazing.
x-loop and loop was already available , also modulation , I think it's just a refresh , not a new version
From the videos there are a lot of new features and modulation methods. I would say based on the videos it is a valid v2 but that they did not break the mold that worked.
I suppose I need to check more videos
Modulation and randomisation was pretty limited in v1, surprisingly so for Sugar Bytes, v1 is a solid plugin, but it lacked the usual level of creative surprise and randomness that is their trademark, so loops sounded quite static and could not easily change from one loop to the next. Looperator was everything Effectrix 1 could have been. I hope v2 adds that SB magic back in - if so it could be a winner.
Huh, interesting, I have got way more out of Effectrix than Looperator. I love being able to set non-standard loop lengths with Effectrix and scene switching works great with this for lots of non looping aesthetics.
Same. One of my most used plugins. Hopefully the upgrade deal will get a bit better over Black Friday, pretty keen to get this.
I bought Effectrix because of its reverse, stretch, filter, and delay primarily. Rarely use anything else. I don’t need the desktop Effectrix 2, but I will instabuy the iOS version.
Damn looks cool. I’m iOS only so it’s of no use to me yet but I’ll definitely buy when it comes to the iPad.
I thought about Black Friday for it too.
