Audio Evolution and iBassist
Now that iBassist is an AU, I was hoping it would integrate more with Audio Evolution, but it seems the opposite. Before, I could use iBassist as an input, but it seems no longer. I guess Audio Evolution doesn’t see AUs as inputs, but is there a reason why? AUM does, but I’d prefer to do all my recording in AE. Is this true also of other Daws? Also if I do load it into AUM, then use AUM as an input in AE, iBassist doesn’t start when I press go, so that’s not a workaround.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Edit - should probably link @dwrae

You load it as an instrument, not as an input.
[edit] humm ... not showing up. Hold the phone ...
Yes, I tried that. In AUM you load it up as an input.
Can't test. It isn't showing up in any host for me.
Anyway, if you can get it to show up in Audio Evolution it will be as an instrument not an input.
Ok I found it. Works in AEM and AUM for me. Thanks Wim
