Looking for an midi controller app
I am looking for a controller app to control faders, knobs etc.
Easy as hell is important.
Thanks

If you want to load it as an auv3 to control other auv3s, Loopy Pro seems to be the best choice, if not the cheapest
Can I do a virtual BCR style?
No idea what that is, I'm also no expert on loopy, but maybe others can tell you
Loopy Pro is an attractive, flexible option. You could also look at KB-1 (MIDI CC mode) and the MIDI Control IAP in LK. The scripting apps Mozaic (nice) and Streambyter (not so nice) also include user interfaces that can be routed to their MIDI outputs. One problem with an on-screen controller is that it covers part of the screen, making it harder to see other apps at the same time (compared to a hardware controller).
You asked about BCR style. KB-1 may come the closest, with 2 rows of 8 knobs. You can configure the MIDI channel, and the CC# for each knob. Of course, you can add multiple AUv3 instances to have even more knobs. See pic.
Loopy pro is the best, but not easy!
I remember that you already own Drambo so that could be the most obvious choice.
Yes, this looks great! Where can I get it and is it possible to have presets or snapshots? So I can switch between different app presets?
I meant bcr 2000
@uncledave One problem with an on-screen controller is that it covers part of the screen, making it harder to see other apps at the same time (compared to a hardware controller).
Thinking to do this on my phone. How can I connect both ?
Not sure you can change/save midi ch per au.
Looking for a pad controller ( au ) with toggle state buttons.
You can connect them via Bluetooth MIDI for example.
Regarding a Drambo controller panel: Would the layout in my example be a good fit?
for Mackie Control, the app called One Control is rather good.

Hi. Each KB-1 instance (not each knob) can be set to a different MIDI channel. And you can switch each control individually to be toggle or momentary, as well as a knob. Also, the Mozaic GUI includes a version with 16 pads.
Cool Dave.
Xequence pads would be best if there were toggle. May just use Drambo keyboard as it shows last key used.
Apologies but interesting.
Synths are midi always and use loopbud.
Sample triggers o Drambo keyboard position can always be available ( when other tracks midi always )
Which means seperate instances of woodtroller ( and not selected via track )
Kb1s for volume control etc ( so dont map via controller )
Its for synths. Mpe synths and a sample player.
Drambo is the best live jam host.
Not only does it give you everything when not live jamming. Ways to route anything or not route/to make it possible.
You can make your live jam also contain your DAW.
Even with loads of controllers I can utlise screens.
What makes it best for live also.
Is where Iv got a drum ipad and tracks amounts just span screen.
The hub ipad ( drums ) which recieves other ipads. Not only uses screen a bit like synth ipad.
The mixer view ( as a hub ) Is best because you have all controls in front of you. You can even create busses so that muting a track within a bus dosent mute the bus etc.
Not dissing aum but it isnt even remotely as good for live nor is any other host.
What? Why hasn't anyone mentioned Surface Builder?
KB-1 might win in the "easy" department though. It's just not as flexible as Surface Builder.
Surface Builder has snapshots …
I will go the drambo route. I know the surface and hope to learn more.
Thanks in advance to all.
Solved my case. Lovehowyou cant delete comments in here
I’ve been doing a lot with Surface Builder lately, and setting aside a couple of idiosyncracies, it’s becoming a standard method for me.
I’m an idiot for not trying to build that in Drambo, though. Need to try it.
Hm. Problem with Drambo is creating a reasonably compact set of controls. Can’t reduce rail height, for example.
