One midi track to multiple destinations. Is it possible?.

Hi,
Say you want some snare layers, or to play 2 bass instruments at the same time, one for more sub bass and the other for more attack… Can you trigger 2 instruments from a single midi track?.
I tried using AudioVeek’s MidiRoute (with bus send and receive) both as a midi fx and as an instrument, but it doesn’t work. As an instrument it crashes Logic.
Any other routing apps or methods?. Thanks!

Just record your midi and then copy/paste it into however many tracks you want. If the use case is live performance, AUM might be a better fit. I haven't done this sort of MIDI routing in Logic desktop but my understanding is that it's a little painful and involves manipulating the MIDI "environment". So, I don't expect to see this sort of capability in Logic Pro for iPad anytime soon, if ever, honestly.

Or wait, I think if you make a track stack you can put the midi track on the top level and it will play through to all the sub-tracks.

ETA: Just tested this. Yes, you can create a "summing stack" of tracks (not a "folder stack") and then send your MIDI to the summing track, and it will get passed to all the sub-tracks.

Ohhh this is the perfect answer!. Thank u! Simple and elegant!. Doesn’t require some mad workaround you’ll never remember.
Made a screenshot in case it helps anyone. Added bonus is that in the subtracts you can add more midi which will be merged with the “parent” which can be useful for small variations.

I would have never thought of adding midi to a summing track!. Very glad this is possible.

Yeah I was just thinking about the possibilities of e.g. doing MIDI transposition or throwing an arpeggiator on one of the sub-tracks. Or maybe MIDI filtering if you want to drive several instruments from a single plugin like Scaler 2.
