    Ok, thanks

  • Why use this when there’s Logic Pro for iPad though?

Logic Pro has a long way to go with Midi, I hope an update lands soon to add what is missing… compare it to the desktop as a starter although Apple might say it is not a straightforward port to iOS…

  • @sfm Fair enough, thanks . Nice new thumbnail there .. Awesome as a matter of fact

Why use anything but LP? It's about choice. If all other DAW developers ceased trading, we'd only have LP. That would be a disaster. A number of people have expressed their disappointment with LP and have gone back to DAWs like CB3 and NS2. Plenty of good music has been made with these two DAWs for example. Long may it continue.

  • Something’s up w Cubasis though . 8 months w no update . It’s either abandonware or they’re designing an answer to LP for iPad .

Why use Buttersynth when there’s Synthmaster 2? Why use KQ Dixie when there’s NFM? Why you EOS2 when there’s Crystalline? We can do that all day but in the end it’s about people’s preferences. Feel like that should be obvious.

I tried Logic Pro, like really tried, for a solid 4 months and just did not like it. The UI wasn’t conducive to my workflow. Cubasis on the other hand is great for me. I always get something done when I use it.

I’ve heard from multiple people that there’s a big update coming.

  • I should add that the Cubasis team uses "it will take some time" for some feature requests that are a decade old.
So given where we are, perhaps an update in Q1 2024?

  • @sfm : Are you still using Zenbeats?

I would imagine so. I’m just curious if we’re getting Cubasis 4 now.

    Sometime yes…
