Drumperfect pro, import MIDI question

I’m trying to import MIDI tracks from logic into dpp then back to logic as audio, I think, as the quickest way to come up with the drum track in logic and change the kit to the drums in dpp.

I got as far as working out how to export MIDI from logic using aum and atom etc. However, I tap export and select dpp… in dpp I load up the MIDI ‘song’ but the pattern is blank. I was guessing it was possibly because the logic MIDI drums are going to different notes than the ones dpp drums trigger (midi mapping?).

Does anyone know the answer? And if it’s what I thought it might be what notes dpp uses. I tried moving all the notes down to start at c1 but that didn’t work either.

    Hi, here is the answer.

Just follow the pictures, it is very simple ( once the kit mapping has been done correctly! ), and cost nothing.

1- Record midi drum track in LP

2- Map the kit in DPP

3- Load midi file in song mode

You can later tweak the patterns/song to your taste.

    Have fun!
