voicing parts live
Is there an ios app that can place parts in a certain order like native instruments Session Horns? That vst has a function they call smart voicing that will place trombone on the bottom of a cord, trumpet on top, and saxes in the middle. Only one instance of each part will play. This is useful when playing live and trying to get more realistic sounds. Would it be possible with a script using different midi channels? What current ios apps produce the most realistic horn sounds for live use?

SWAM instruments. Run them in AUM as separate channels and route your midi accordingly via the midi matrix. No scripting needed
You can set transposition intervals per channel in AUM, and other parameters too.
Also you can route the different instruments into groups via the mixing bus capabilities, which is great for adding compression or other effects on the group before sending it to a master track. Which is perfect for what you’re describing, I think?
I might reread your post and I think I may have misunderstood it. If you are trying to get it to route different notes of a chord being played to all go to different instruments, I don’t know how to do that. I would maybe just play the chords in a DAW and then copy the midi tracks to different instruments and manually delete the unneeded notes. lol sounds like a headache tho, there has to be a better way?
But yeah,, SWAM instruments are the most realistic sounding horns/strings/wind instruments I’ve found
I think they are looking for something that will take polyphonic midi and distribute the individual voices to different midi channels so that they can control different instruments.
I have the swan trumpet and the gsi solo trumpet that has a trombone model. I use them layered with Korg Module to get the middle notes, but there may be a better way. This is for using live to play horn parts. I never know which instrument will end up on top, on bottom, etc. Native Instruments has a way to do it. Other plugin can do it but I was hoping I could do it in IOS. There a divisi app that will do it with with Swam VST instruments but not Swam IOS
If you have “Scalar 2” is can output Divisi Chords.
I like to use a Mozaic script from @Ki called “Multi-Divisi v 1.2”. It can spread input chords across up to 6 MIDI channels:

You just set it up in AUM with your respective instruments all getting input from the Mozaic script but each listening on the correct MIDI channel for its place in the chord. There are also many scripts to accept a single input note and output “open voiced” chords that are perfect for input into the Divisi script. This combination acts a lot like an arranger keyboard playing in chord mode. You just need to dial in the current root and scale to use.
Thanks so much McD. I was hoping for something like these. I'm assuming you have to buy the iap in Scaler 2 to use the Divisi chords so I'll try Mosaic first. Probably going to get more Swam instruments too.
