Happy Halloween! JWM - Insomniac (NS2 Bass House)
And old track of mine inspired by Valentino Khan, aka the dude who invented Bass House back in 2015. Decided to repost here four years later to wish everyone a Happy Halloween!

Sounds great! Happy Halloween my friend 👻
Awesome Jim. Happy Halloween Y’all……..
Sickest Halloween for me ina long time…my wife and kids had a great day and I actually had a lot of fun with my new Logic Pro (MacOS M1) + Roland S-1+ Korg Volca Drum + Arturia mini lab 3 + midi interface/audio interface + Drambo+ extra plugins = final success in workflow. I can also translate this fairly difficultly to Cubasis on iOS, but it’s not worth the hassle. Nothing is like real Logic Pro X. It is a sad admission of defeat in one sense, but also iOS is a lot more affordable. So I’m going to record and produce most of my tracks in Logic and when its time for final mixes and masters, i will send the waves on over to the iPad (+morphit on Beats Studio 3). But I doubt I’ll find a better workflow than what I be now. It’s taken me years to get to where I have these past few weeks. Im very happy about it, very excited about it ,and its very enjoyable
This EP is FIREEEEEEEE. I love that midway breakdown. I would love to know what instruments and what synths you used to capture al of this. But it’s too much to break down…..do you use scratch samples are you scratching yourself? It’s a large encompassing album, i like it!
Not to take away from your shine, but your holiday track was so inspiring it made me feel like expressing my aspirations! People seemed to like hourglass, and now that I know what I’m doing and how to operate it, I think some good tracks will finally be coming down the pipeline.
Awesome work and happy Halloween……to all my friends on here, past, present, (and no longer lol)
@HotStrange Thanks mate! Happy Halloween.
Thanks mate. Happy Halloween!
Nice! Well whatever workflow works for you to produce more music my friend, stick with it.
Are you talking about my above track from 2019, or the new "Koala Dreams" EP? I'm a bit confused, lol.
I'm so glad I inspired you mate. Best of luck on your endeavors.
LOL! Well, I'm a present friend I hope.
Of course you are !!!
I meant a former friend from Berlin that liked Fx and encouraged me to delete my original (FAL) account.
And yes; the SoundCloud took me to your koala EP so I just kept listening
Your koala EP is incredible. That is what I meant. I loved it.
Tbh, as I’ve said to you before, I was a fan of yours before I joined. Like before I started with drambo I tried Cubasis and gave up because I didn’t see the point of iOS if I was doing what I would like in a daw on desktop, but dRambo joined that and I found this site and listened to your stuff because your posts were prolific and always told your production and I was like this guy knows what he’s doing, so yes, about the koala EP, it’s terrific
Nice track! Definitely can’t sleep while listening to this one.
Wait...you're the (FAL) guy!? (Maybe you told me and I had a Dory moment and forgot). Man I missed you and didn't realise it was you, lol.
Nice!
Thank you so much mate.
Again thanks mate, and you humble me with your kind words. I just simply do as I please on iOS, with more apps than I know what to do with half the time. (It's why I bought a refurbished iPhone 14 Pro Max with 1TB storage. So I can only install what I need, including all the mega-sized romplers I use, and still have plenty of wiggle room for rendering audio and all that. And have a device with a super powerful battery, which was one of the reasons I had GAS for the OP-1 Field.)
And the reason I tend to explain everything is to not only share what interests me at the moment, but also in case others who are just starting with iOS music can find a direction in which to go.
Cheers mate. That means a lot to me.
