Pro Apps

So we have:

Logic Pro

Final Cut

Procreate

Procreate Dreams (soon)

Davinci Resolve

Photo (I think it’s called, haven’t used in a while)

Scrivener

Just off the top of my head. What other ‘pro’ apps for any creative field would people say we now have on iPad?

Obviously there are lots of pro level apps like loads of our plugins but I mean apps like the abive that feel like suites or something.

Just curious as I didn’t realise resolve was on iPad now and feels like a definite shift since m1.

Serif Labs supergreat collection AFFINITY is perhaps the most ambitious project on iPad (together with Logic Pro).

    Affinity Publisher
    Affinity Photo
    Affinity Designer

There’s a universal licence that let you use this three apps on both iPad, Mac and Windows…

  • Would the FabFilter stuff count?

Yeah I think that’s on the border. I thought of that while making the post but then we could probably list an awful lot of pro level music apps outside daws. I get that ff are regarded as super pro level though - I’ve ended up buying them all twice due to Auria 😂

Thank you. Yes affinity photo is the one I was thinking of. I’ll have to check out the others and license… but subs…

I got really into photography briefly and was very disappointed with… is it light box or something maybe the adobe app. So photo has been great.

😂 I never had Auria but I’d say it’s worth it to buy twice lol but yeah that’s why I asked. They’re definitely on the precipice but more and more are coming to iOS every day now
