Still my favorite drum machine

I pulled Patterning 2 out of mothballs the other night, had a bit of a messaround and came up with this.

  • Great 👍🥷

  • It’s probably still near the top of everyone’s wish list for AUv3. Fantastic app, and this is an excellent example of the things you can do with it.

  • Yeah, it's almost a 10, but not being AUv3 m it drops a lot in score. I wish they would make a Patterning 3 in AUv3.

  • Absolutely. Amazing app. Even not being AUV3 I still love it

  • The AUv3 thing doesn’t bother me much especially since you can route each drum to separate AUM tracks.

  • Love the vibe @rottencat - and great reminder to use P2 again.

True. And the huge library of user presets + sample import is great. Even using standalone and exporting the loops is nice.

    Great experimental piece.

  • Great use of a great drum machine. I love that there are so many kits to download . Prompting me to dig it out again. And with your trademark visual accompaniment too. I love it. :)

But - Why oh why is it not AUV3? It’s not that you can’t use it, just that you can use only one in an arrangement, and you can’t save it with the rest of your AUM patch. It’s just a sad fact that I tend to overlook all my IAA apps these days, just from a convenience point of view.

    I’m shallow like that.

Thanks for the reminder not to be.
