App Store issue with payment
So, I used to be able to buy an app and have it charge to my paypal, which would take about 3-5 days to post, even if I didn't have the money in the account currently...I'd do that whenever I had pending payment from a Bandcamp sale or something.
However, now when I try to do it, it declines immediately and then tries to charge by cashapp (which is also declined as I rarely if EVER use it).
Was there some kind of update?

Pretty sure there’s no App Store update that would do this, so I would think PayPal is declining it. Did you contact PayPal to see why they declined it?
I took care of it by adding my bank card... I think it was a PayPal update. It used to take a few days for it to post but now it's charging immediately. I wanted to pay with my paypal balance not my card but at least now I know. It also split the payments by taking the rest of the paypal balance and the difference from my checking.
So now I got PhaseMonkey AND Dagger lol
It charges based on the order you put your payment types in the payment list inside settings.
Go to settings, tap on your name at top left, then select payment and shipping, there you will be able to add, remove, or rearrange (hit edit and reorder) the order in which you want App Store purchases. App Store account comes first, then you can have whatever you want in there, and if one doesn’t have enough or doesn’t work it goes to the next one, and so on… hope that helps.
Oh yeah, I already got that taken care of when I added my card...but it now charges PayPal immediately (or tries to) when it used to just pend...and now it pends on the secondary form of payment. The money is there, mind you, but it used to not do this.
