Of the silent souls
Just a lovely tune that popped out of Piano Motifs.
All I did was to choose the instruments… 3 * Ravenscroft 275, ThumbJam Cello, Roli Noise Harp and Pads and BeatHawk Organ.
And finally add a brief SWAM Alto Saxophone melody at the end.

Lovely arrangement, great title. The sax solo takes it to another level. And I wish I’d thought of appending a running number to my stuff like you do to yours.
Pretty track!
I like this a lot. Glad to see ThumbJam getting the love it deserves.
When the sax comes in, I thought, that’s GeoTony. Your note selections are priceless… you find the note to add that
elevates the material to another level. I’m sure that means 7, 9’s but you seem to know when they will create an emotional
moment that great soloists seem to just throw off in their playing.
I’d love to hear your solo playing start earlier in the piece but I can hear the care you take in crafting a great ensemble but those
notes you add are not going to come from Piano Motifs.
Thanks @Svetlovska , @jdp000 , @Paulieworld and @McD 👍
The title is from an anonymous poem I found by chance Irena. The running order is a byproduct of my years working on Relational databases and the need to give everything a unique primary key (sorry for regressing to nerdiness).
You’re too kind @McD . I just go for something that sounds nice. I understand the theory (in this case) but don’t use it to create the tune. I was thinking of making the piece longer for the reason you suggested McD but decided to keep it fairly short. I thought PM did a pretty good job with the Cello line.
This is a good demo for Piano Motifs as a wonderful generating app for making the “composer” look good.
@azul3D_Apps deserves regular demos of his consistent updates to his app.
Nice piece @GeoTony! That sax solo is great!
Or is it the “composer” that’s making Piano Motifs look good 😀?
Chicken or egg? When I use Piano Motifs lately I tend to hit generate until I like the results and then just start assigning parts
to AUv3’s in AUM or export the MIDI over to a DAW. I always try and disclose the “composer” of the music. It certainly isn’t me…
I’m just the “Producer” that makes keeps all the money. It’s easy to share credit when it costs so little.
