Just a little something to help you sleep

My wife likes to listen to this type of music when she can't sleep. I wanted to help, so I put this together in Cubasis and looped it while she reclined in her "Lazy Girl" chair. It seemed to work, so I gave it a beginning and an ending, and called it "Waiting For A Storm". Sweet dreams.

    Hi Ed,
This is probably the most minimal thing I’ve done. I used Mitosynth for the background, Pure Piano, and some nature sounds. I had to fight the urge to add more! Thanks for listening and commenting. Have a good one.

  • It’s really nice, @Paulieworld. I dig stuff like this.

  • Lol, my partner falls asleep when sheisn’t supposed to. Well done, as always, Paul. Have a peaceful weekend.

  • @Paulieworld nice piece, really enjoyed that.

Thanks Dave. I’m digging it, too. I hope to hear some killer Jazz from you soon.

    Hi Mike,
We had a great day. Dinner, drinks, and a movie at Hollywood Boulevard.

We just got home and she is sleeping in her Lazy Girl. She looks so content. Shhhhh…

  • Lovely, thanks for sharing.

  • That’s a really well crafted track that hits the target for calming music.

There are some really interesting clues about why various people like different types of music in this video.
The part where he shows brain scans is illuminating (1:17-2:30). I can’t wait until we have an app for that to find the
music that “fills my brain with blood” or at least shows me which brain center I’m trying to stimulate on a regular basis.

  • Lovely track Paul. The sounds of nature really add to it. Uncluttered but works all the better for it 👍

I like his name. Starts with Ein…. I once had a brain scan and they found nothing! A few years ago, my blood flowed somewhere else. Oh well…

I’m pretty sure I used those nature effects in another song, but they seemed to work better with this one. My wife likes it. I’m getting into this sleepy time stuff lately. Maybe I’ll post some more. What could possibly go wrong.
